Air Quality Regulations & Compliance

The courses include the following elements:

  • A general overview of all applicable federal and state air quality laws and regulations.
  • A discussion on new and pending air quality legislation.
  • Introduction into the Major Source (Title) I Permitting Program including a basic working knowledge of all major program elements and its complexities in an easy to understand fashion.
  • Discussion of the structure of the Operating (Title V) Permit programs and the specific categories of requirements. Based on the experience from many facilities around the state, the course provides practical guidelines and solutions on how to deal with specific permit requirements.

New Source Review (NSR/PSD) Permitting

This course is an introduction into the Major Source Permitting Program. It provides a basic working knowledge of all major program elements and explains its complexities in an easy to understand fashion. Classroom discussion of specific permitting problems is encouraged.

Air Quality Operating Permit (Title V) Compliance

This course provides an understanding of the structure of the Title V permits and discusses the specific categories of requirements. Based on the experience from many facilities around the state the course provides practical guidelines and solutions on how to deal with specific permit requirements. Participants are welcome to bring questions for discussion during class or to email special problems prior to the class.
