Design

• Our Heavy-Duty Trailer-Mounted smoke generators let you take your generator on a road trip. • You can eliminate toluene, a toxic chemical and hazardous air pollutant because the trailer has a patented Black Smoke Generator Chamber. The black smoke burn box can be fired on No.2 diesel or biodiesel. • The redesigned white smoke chamber eliminates older units' “hyper-sensitivity” problems. The chamber temperature is displayed on the control panel for easy control at the optimum temperature. • With an onboard industrial/commercial grade single-pass continuous opacity monitor, the VEGA generator continuous opacity monitoring system (COMS) complies with federal government requirements. It dramatically improves the ability to display opacity in the range the human eye sees for optimum accuracy, reliability, and compliance. • Includes a permanently mounted incandescent light transmissometer and datalogger. • With an onboard Fuel Rotameter (a liquid fuel flow indicator) mounted in the central control panel, you have critical information about the fuel flow rate, dramatically improving system safety and reliability. • With an onboard remote stack raising and lowering system, you’ll no longer have to hand-pump to lift or manually push the stack to drop it into its cradle. • With an onboard Central Control Panel, all critical controls and gauges are at your fingertips. • Power requirements: 15-amp, 120-volt AC, single phase • Is built on a trailer that has heavy-gauge aluminum cover plates, side walls with top rails, and cargo tie-downs. • A single axle with electric brakes (option) and FastLUBE bearing seals are standard. A large side-mounted aluminum cargo container will hold optional batteries, a charger, and other gear. • Includes a Unit-Mounted PA system mounted in the central control panel. Weather-proof speakers are permanently mounted on the unit. • The Vega Smoke Generator is protected by U.S. Patent Number 8,245,644
